Plays well, with very good balance. It is lightweight.

Came in a great variety of colors.

It is unusual in that it has 3 tabs.

Zoo, Dino & Fantasy

These lines of Holo-Trompo have nice enbedded carved designs on the crown. The relief in on the inside of the mold, where it receives a coat of silver paint.

The Zoo line has animals in the crown. There was also a Dino (dinosaur) line and a Fantasy line.

It is a little heavier than the Átomo and plays well .

Azteca

Faraón

These tops honor three well known ancient civilizations.

The Azteca has the image of the Aztec calendar on the crown and the less known Maya that of Mayan god Quetzalcóalt. They are unusual in having a inlay motif going around the body.

The Azteca is identical to the Cometa version of the same name but this is better made.

The Faraón has pharaoh Tutankhamun's face on the crown.

Are those cabalistic symbols engraved in the crowns?

Plays well and not well known. Possible good collectibles.

An nice solid black beginner top.

The Colombia 2003 crown is from a promotional campaign of the brand in Colombia.

Zebra

The Ultra is the top Gerardo Montero uses in his videos and according to some is the top that plays best of the Holo Trompos.

It is characterized by longitudinal internal ribs.

The Zebra uses the same mold and has a cool (embedded) zebra sticker on the crown.

These are BEARING tops.

3rd Generation
Turbo Animal World (has sticker on crown). Has no brass weight ring and the cap can be untwisted open.

The Holo Five, has 4 tabs. According to Gustavo they are popular in Costa Rica and Colombia. It plays quite well.

Colors

Know by both names, this line plays very well and one of the best Holo Trompos, according to Salvador Martinez. It has excellent tips Made from the same mold than the Holo-Light.

As most of the tops in this gallery, they were discontinued.

Profesional
&
Professional

The Profesional is highly recommended for beginners. It is light, made of tough flexible plastic.

The Professional Five Star sold out very fast.

PRO

It uses the same unusual 4 tab body as the Holo Five but with opaque plastic.

Diamante

Every Mexican brand seems to have a diamond theme. The facets are molded internally.

Buggy

These are small tops, even smaller than the "minis" that most brands offer. They have sport related designs in their crowns and as other undersized tops are very popular with little kids. Buggy is written in relief on the side of the body.

Special Spin

This top is very unusual in that it came with a knob on the crown for extra tricks.

This probably shows the cross-pollinitation with the Colombian market where the traditional wooden top has it.

Cosmic

Smaller than the regular size but larger than a mini.

Holo-Light

Four LEDs and a microcontroller make varying patterns while the tops spins. Activated by a centrifugal switch. It uses 3 small watch batteries.
